After we went back from the morning Mass,
my cousin came to our home. “Let’s go to the beach!” he said. My mum and dad
were so excited to go (21st June 2015 was Father’s Day, so it’s a
good time for family-got-together moment at the beach). It’s been years since
the last time we went to the beach as a family.
At half passed three, we went
to Pantai Pasir Panjang. The journey took about 45 minutes. There were few
groups of family at the time we arrived. The beach is not the kind of
‘breathtakingly-beautiful-beach-with-luxurious-resort-thingy”. So don’t expect
too much. Yeah… the sand is not as white as pearl. The sea is not crystal clear
blue. And sadly you can still see rubbish under the trees. You might asked “why
you come then?” Am I right? Well I admit that the beach is not really the one
that can meet your high expectation. But let me tell you few things that the
beach can offer.
- The water is not crystal clear blue but it’s clean enough for you to swim with your loved ones
- The sand is not as white as pearl but it’s golden enough for you to stroll around while holding your darling’s hand
- Did I mention about the sky? No? It’s blue enough that you are able to see the fluffy white clouds moving together slowly and the sun smile brightly
- You can also see the Mount Santubong standing strong and mighty
- Last but not least, you can spend precious moment with your family here
